Fineberg Migration Services

Fineberg Migration Services was founded by Michelle Fineberg in 2018 with the vision of providing high-quality, cost-effective migration advice and representation. Driven by a commitment to justice, Michelle also established a means-tested pro bono service to support refugee clients in need of legal assistance.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science/Laws from Monash University and was admitted as an Australian lawyer in 2015. Her work experience spans multiple areas, including as a legal administrative assistant and paralegal in the areas of family law, youth law, criminal law, and environmental law. She has also served as an Associate at the County Court of Victoria.

Her passion for immigration law was sparked in 2017 while volunteering at Refugee Legal in Melbourne, where she witnessed firsthand the immense challenges refugees face and the critical need for strong advocacy. In 2018, she completed a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice at Victoria University and became a Registered Migration Agent under the governance of the Office of Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA).
